Graphic design services for the third sector

I help mission-driven organisations protect what matters — nature, culture, and people — by creating design that makes their work impossible to ignore.

Brand identity is so much more than a logo. It's the first impression — the colour, the shape, the texture, the feeling. Visual language is processed before a single word is read, so what your organisation *looks like* is already doing the work of telling people whether you're worth their time and trust. I build brand identities from scratch, by hand — drawing on everything that comes out of our conversations, the questions you didn't expect, the details that wouldn't survive a brief. The result is something that couldn't have come from anywhere else, because it came from you. And because I'm staunchly anti-trend, you won't date yourself in two years. What I make is built to last — because the work you're doing deserves nothing less.

“From our meeting on day one, I feel like Laura really took the time to understand the project and what I wanted from its design. She was lovely to deal with through the process and happy to accommodate changing ideas. The work she has produced is incredible.”

Brand Identity Design

PRINT ISNAE DEAD! I will die on this hill.

Print is authoritative, physical, curated. It demands to be held. In a world of flat screens and endless scrolling, a well-crafted printed piece signals something different entirely: that real people came together to make something worth your attention.

I've worked in print for over ten years and I am obsessed. I've taken projects from design to distribution, for small organisations and national brands. I know my GSM from my CMYK. I have a favourite paper stock. (200gsm Cyclus 100% recycled, if you’re curious – although sadly I think it’s been discontinued).

If your cause needs to exist in the physical world, I'm your designer.

Magazines / annual reports / brochures / catalogues / posters / leaflets + flyers / business stationery / event programmes / maps / wayfinding + signage / billboards + hoardings / exhibition + trade show graphics / merchandise

Creative Direction

Most clients come to me knowing they need graphic design. What they don't always realise is that they need someone to hold the whole vision — from the first spark of an idea to the final thing in someone's hands.

That's what creative direction is, and it's what I do naturally.

I shape the concept, manage the makers — photographers, writers, web designers — and make sure everything that goes out into the world feels coherent, considered, and unmistakably yours. You get one point of contact, one clear vision, and none of the coordination headache.

For organisations doing work that matters, that coherence isn't just aesthetic. It's a signal to your audience that what you're doing is worth taking seriously.
